Celano, Quick, and Adams Named to 2023 CACC Softball All-Academic Team

Jersey City, NJ -- Alliance University's Janelle Adams, Jayna Celano, and Kaila Quick are among the seventy-nine student-athlete honorees that were selected to the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball All-Academic Team as announced by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara on Wednesday.

Four-time honoree and Graduate Student Janelle Adams (Oxnard, CA) posted a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA while completing her MSOL degree. Both three-time honoree Seniors Jayna Celano (Goshen, NY), majoring in Business Administration, and Kaila Quick (Dover, DE), majoring in Biology, earned their all-academic status with a 3.98 and a 3.85 cumulative GPA, respectively.

To qualify for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must:
a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants)
b) Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution
c) Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
