Chris' stellar form led him to win the Middlesex Invitational 100-meter dash event while setting a new outdoor school record time of 10.84s and securing rank #3 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference over the 100-meters.

With a time of 22.03s in the 200-meter event, Alliance University's freshman sprinter placed in the top spot at the 2023 Lions Invitational in New Jersey setting the tone for the following week's CACC Championship.

At the CACC Championship in Lakewood, NJ, Chris Adekoya finished both, the 100-meter and 200-meter dash in first place with a time of 10.70s and 21.93s respectively. He set a new outdoor 100-meter dash school record and also earned himself CACC All-Conference First-Team status.
