Jersey City, NJ -- Sophomore Sage Sumpter finished second in the shot put event with a distance of 13.16m. Hannah Simon finished 41st in the 400m dash with a time of 1:19.71. Freshmen Kayla Hill and Ayleen Villacres came in 66th and 7th in the 1,500m event with times of 5:54.14 and 6:24.23, and 43rd and 44th with times of 22:49.80 and 24:22.94 in the 5,000m event. 

Joanne Samuel-Olangunju was the only other field athlete competing for Alliance and finished the day with a distance of 13.16m in the long jump event which saw her finish 24th. 

Alliance is looking to be back in action on March 31st & April 1st when they will compete 2023 Danny Curran Invitational in Chester, Pennsylvania.
