Jersey City, NJ -- Sophomore Sage Sumpter rounded up her 2022-23 indoor track & field season with another first place finish at the Last Chance Indoor National Qualifier held at Boston University on Sunday, February 26th, 2023. 

Sumpter won the shot put event with a distance of 12.84m. Freshman Kayla Hill came in 28th place in the 400m dash with a time of 1:10.11, while graduate student Hannah Simon finished 30th in the 200m dash with a time of 29.88 and 22nd in the 60m dash with a time of 8.85.

Sage Sumpter finished the indoor track & field season ranked #1 in the shot put event in the East Region with her distance of 14.70 at the Joe Handelman Invitational on December 10, 2022.
