Men's Indoor Track & Field Finishes Season with Last Chance Indoor National Qualifier at Boston University

Jersey City, NJ -- The Alliance University men's track & field program competed in its last meet of the season when they traveled to Boston University on Sunday, February 26th. 

The day started with freshman Kosiani Dunkley breaking his own school records in both the mile with a time of 4:24,84 and 800 meter dash with a time of 1:54.78. Kevin Saunders snuck his way into the top 30 in the 60m dash with a time of 7.52, while he finished 35th in the 200m dash with a time of 22.79. Steven Elcock came in three spots in front of Saunders with a 32nd place finish and a time of 22.59. Raul Deza finished 46th in the 200m dash with a time of 23.89. Deza also competed in the 400m dash where he finished 34th with a time of 54.08.

Jeremiah Herbert and Noble Parker finished first and second in the 600m dash with times of 54.08 and 55.06 respectively. 

Chris Adekoya finished the indoor season ranked first in the East Region in the 60m dash with a time of 6.82, while the quartet of seniors Sam Abreu, Kevin Saunders, Jeremiah Herbert, and freshman Steven Elcock are #6 with a time of 3:22.45. The men's team finished the season ranked 13th in the East Region with 36.90 points based on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
