Two New School Records and Continued Stellar Performances at NYU D3 Invitational

Jersey City, NJ -- The Alliance University indoor track & field program was back in action on Friday afternoon when they competed at the NYU Division 3 Invitational in New York City. Senior Sam Abreu continued his strong campaign with a solid performance with a time of 50.30 in the men's 400m dash placing 4th overall, which currently puts him #8 in the NCAA Division 2 East Region. Kevin Saunders also had a solid performance placing 8th overall with a time of 51.37, in the same event.

Freshman Kosiani Dunkley showed great poise as he battled in the men's mile placing 10th overall and setting a new school record with a time of 4:26.82. To cap things off, freshman Christopher Adekoya set a new school record in the men's 200m dash with a time of 22.38 placing 3rd overall in the competition. Adekoya is currently ranked #10 in the NCAA East Region for Division 2. 

The men's program will be back in action on Saturday, February 11th, when they compete at the Big Apple Invitational in Staten Island, NY.
