Jersey City, NJ -- At the 4:50 minute mark in Saturday's game against Caldwell Isayas Aris scored his 20th point of the game, which meant he had officially joined the prestigious 1,000 career point club at Alliance University. Aris now stands at 1,003 career points. Aris joined Alliance University in the lead up to the 2020-21 season which was a lot short due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It took Aris 61 games to make it past the 1,000 career point who has now to regular season games left to add to his career total at AU. The last men's basketball player to reach the 1,000 point mark was Aris' teammate Joel Bailey and completed the quest to 1,000 during the 2021-22 season against the University of the Sciences.
