Jersey City, NJ - Alliance's defense held Bridgeport to single digits in the first and third quarter to secure the victory 54-51 in a CACC North Division game. They held UB to three field goals in each of those quarters. Carly Bolivar (Elmont, NY) scored 16 points and Raquel Crooke-Losada (Boadilla del Monte, Spain) added 12 points with eight rebounds. The key of the game for AU was defense. They held the Purple Knights to 6-29 of shooting in the first and third quarter.

The women will be in action on Saturday as they host Caldwell in a 1:00pm start. Saturday will also be Breast Cancer Awareness Game.
