Jersey City, NJ -- The Alliance University Track & Field Team was back in action and competed in its first meet in 2023 at the TCNJ Lions Indoor Invitational. Freshman
Christopher Adekoya provided the highlight reel of the day with his performance during the 60m dash. Adekoya qualified for the final with a 5th place finish in the preliminaries and a time of 7.09 before he rounded up his performance with a new indoor track & field school record for AU. Adekoya came in 4th in the final with a time of 6.89. His new school record currently ranks first in the NCAA Division II East region.
Kosiani Dunkley earned another top 10 finish with a time of 1:59.46 in the 800m event, while the 4x400m relay came in 8th out of 19 programs with a time of 3:30.24.
