Box Score Jersey City, NJ - Ashlyn Mesidor (Columbus, GA) sets career high with 20 points in a loss to Mercy College. She was 7 for 9 from the floor to add to her historical night. Carly Bolivar (Elmont, NY) and Sasha Schoenborn (Burleson, TX) added double digits points with 11 and 10 respectively. AU went into halftime down three and were outscored by seven points in the third quarter. Mercy pulled down 18 offensive rebounds compared to five for Alliance which lead to a 16-3 advantage in second chance points. 

The score was tied at 39 with 3:47 left in the third when Mercy went on a 15-5 run to end the quarter. During this time Ashlyn spent a little over two minutes on the bench with foul trouble which Mercy took advantage of. AU falls to 1-8 overall and will travel to Felician on Wednesday January 4 for a CACC contest. The women are 7-14 against the Golden Falcons all time being swept last season.
