Men's Basketball Upsets #18 Dominican 86-80

Jersey City, NJ - Alliance University upsets 18th ranked Dominican University 87-80 on the road. Dominican is also ranked second in the region in the latest poll. Isayas Aris (Chicago, IL) led the way with his 11th double double scoring 24 points and gathering 12 rebounds. Joel Bailey (Old Harbour, Jamaica) and Tavien Kemp (Olean, NY) added 19 and 18 points respectively. Alliance dominated the fast break category breaking Dominican's press with several home run passes which lead to easy buckets. AU also had a big advantage in the first half in points in the paint, 22-8. This victory makes the men 10-19 vs the Chargers overall and 4-6 in their last 10 matchups.

Alliance will travel to Jefferson on Saturday with a 4:00pm start time.
