Jersey City, NJ - Alliance University (AU) women's soccer team outshoots St. Thomas Aquinas University (STAC) but loses 2-0. Five AU players had a shot on goal but just could not find the net in the road non-conference match. Senior Daniela Frey and sophomore Lara Noe led the team with three shots and one shot on goal each. Freshman keeper Celine Grothe once again played the full 90 minutes while making three saves. 

The women will be be home Saturday September 10th to open CACC conference play vs Georgian Court at 1:00 pm. Last year GCU scored early and held on to win 1-0 in Lakewood, NJ.
