Box Score Jersey City, NJ - Alliance women's soccer team score first when they took on nationally ranked #2 St Rose College. Graduate Maider Ruiz De Erenchun scored on a header in the second minute which was assisted by sophmore Lara Noe. The goal was a part of a brilliant set piece Alliance Head Coach Emma Webb instructed her players to set up.
St. Rose got on the board as Alliance provided them with the goal scoring an own goal. St Rose's attack proved to be too much after that as they scored three unanswered goals to end the first half. Lara Noe scored the second goal for Alliance on a penalty kick in the 79th minute.
Women's soccer will be in action on Saturaday September 3 at 12:00pm as they host D'Youville.
