Jersey City, NJ -- The Nyack College women's soccer program opened its 2022-23 campaign with a home contest against the Roberts Wesleyan College Redhawks. Roberts Wesleyan of the East Coast Conference (ECC) scored 3 second half goals to win 3-0. Nyack controlled possession over the Redhawks and had a few opportunities through both halves. Freshman Mia Thomson had the best one with a shot on goal in the 24th minute. Freshman goalkeeper Celine Grothe recorded three saves for the Warriors.

The woman's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday August 31 as they host St. Rose. The game will be played at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus, NJ. Kickoff is 1:00pm.
