MEMBERS OF 2022 CACC SOFTBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 9, 2022) -- Eighty-six (86) student-athletes on Thursday were named to the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 86 honorees represent all 13 CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.
Nyack College placed a total of six student-athletes on the list this year, with five of them making at least their second appearance during their collegiate career. Jayna Celano, Kelly Rattigan, and Kaila Quick made the All-Academic team for the second time, while Arielys Rodriguez and Janelle Adams garnered the accolades for the third time at Nyack. Jessa Johnson made her debut on the All-Academic team to round up the six student-athletes representing Warriors Softball at the conference level.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
♦ Nine of the honorees earned GPAs of 3.90 or higher.
♦ Thirty-five (35) of the honorees made the CACC Softball All-Academic Team for the second time.
♦ Fourteen (14) of the honorees made the All-Academic squad for the third time.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as a full-time student at a member institution; c) student-athlete must be second-year student-athlete at a member institution, and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
