Jersey City, NJ -- Freshman shot putter Sage Sumpter has carried her stellar form into the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship and took first place in the women's shot put event with a distance of of 13.71m. Sumpter also finished fourth in the discus event with a distance of 35.42m.
Georgian Court has claimed every women's CACC Outdoor T&F Championship title since the conference began sponsoring the sport in 2014.
