NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 7, 2022) -- One hundred and thirty five (135) student-athletes on Wednesday were named to the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. All 13 CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.

Each of the 13 schools had a minimum of five student-athletes make the list, while seven teams had double-digit honorees including CACC Champion University of Bridgeport (10), Caldwell University (16), Georgian Court University (13), Goldey-Beacom College (10), Holy Family University (13), Thomas Jefferson University (15), and Wilmington University (18).

Alliance posted two of nine perfect scores with Maren Wolf and Megan Ybarra both carrying a 4.0 cumulative GPA. Wolf made her second appearance on the All-Academic team, while Ybarra made her debut. Linda Grimminger and Shanice Rapp were two of four students who were named to the All-Academic team for the fourth time in their collegiate career. Lara Noe, Anna-Lena Gilbert, and Daniela Frey achieved the conference academic recognition for the first time, while Maider Ruiz De Erenchun made her second appearance and Maria Vargas Dominguez her third. 

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must: a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants); b) Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
