Jersey City, NJ - Men's basketball was on the wrong side of a 18-8 turnover margin. This allowed Mercyhurst to outscore them 20-6 on points off turnovers. The loss drop AU to 5-8 overall, it is also their first loss against a PSAC opponent. Alliance was led by three players who scored double digits. Joel Bailey (Old Harbour, Jamaica) and Isayas Aris (Chicago, IL) each scored 15 points and combined for 12 rebounds. Isiah Murphy (Brooklyn, NY) added 14 points of his own. The three shot 69.2% (18-26 FG) from the floor, however none of them were from behind the three point arc. Defensively AU only committed three fouls the whole game.

The men will host Cheyney University of Pennsylvania on Monday December 19 with a start time of 7:00pm. This is the first meeting between the two schools.
