Jersey City, NJ - AU men's basketball loses to Bloomfield in a seesaw CACC opener which saw 12 lead changes.
Isayas Aris (Chicago, IL) led all players with 21 points and 17 rebounds. This was his fifth double double which has him fifth in the conference in points per game (17.7ppg) and leading the conference in rebounding (11.4ppg).
Tavien Kemp (Olean, NY) helped out with 19 points, 15 of which came behind the arc. Despite the stellar play by Aris and Kemp, Bloomfield used a 17-6 run in the final five minutes to close out the victory.
Alliance men's basketball outscored BC 20-8 on points off turnover, but could not close the game out shooting only 57% from the charity stripe. They missed six free throws in the final 10 minutes two of which were the front end of a one and one. The men travel to caldwell on Saturday for a 3:00pm start.
