Jersey City, NJ - Alliance's women's basketball team travels to Mansfield and loses their season opener 68-52. Carly Bolivar (Elmont, NY) was the top point getter for both teams with 20 points in 33 minutes. She also added five steals and four rebounds for AU. Mansfield bench outscored AU 25-4. Alliance had all five starters play at least 30 minutes each. Raquel Crooke-Losada (Boadilla del Monte, Spain) pulled down 11 rebounds and netted six points to lead Alliance in rebounding. The women will travel to Hofstra on Wednesday November 23 starting at 4:00pm.
