Jersey City, NJ - Alliance men's basketball wins their second straight against a PSAC school. After beating Lock Haven, AU out duels Mansfield 68-63.
Isayas Aris (Chicago, IL),
Tavien Kemp (Olean, NY) and
Joel Koryor (Bedford-Stuyvesant, NY) each score in double digits to lead the men's basketball team to their fourth win in a row. Isayas scored 16 points with 12 rebounds and has led the team in both cartegories. Tavien added 12 points and leads the team in 3pt FGs. He also had 3 steals that helped AU gain 12 points off turnovers and 12 points by fastbreak. Joel joined his teammates with 11 points as a starter after leading the bench in the previous game.
Alliance once again used their bench well as they outscored their opponent 17-9. They also used a 14-0 run with 4:17 left in the first half to take control of the game and never relinquished the lead. The men will travel to Queens College for a 6:00pm tipoff.
