Javier Plaza Named to D2CCA All-East Region First-Team

Jersey City, NJ -- Alliance University men's soccer senior Javier Plaza was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) All-East Region First-Team. This is the first time since 2017, when Finn Reese was named to the First-Team that a player from the AU men's soccer program received the recognition. Plaza finished the season with six goals and 14 assists for a team-high 26 points. His 14 assists rank tied for 5th in the nation, while he is ranked 3rd in assists per game with .78.

Plaza was also named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference First-Team and the All-Tournament Team. Plaza is now eligible for the D2 CCA All-American voting starting on Tuesday, November 22nd.
