The Alliance University women's soccer team traveled to Holy Family on Saturday afternoon and took on the second-best goalkeeper in the conference in save percentage. In a tight contest, Alliance kept the game tied in the first 45 minutes. However, the Tigers decided the game in their favor off of three second half goals. AU's own goalie, freshman
Celine Grothe, had eight saves of her own. The eight saves were a season and career high for Grothe. Additionally, this was head coach
Emma Webb's 50th game for the school and her career. AU women's soccer will be in action next on Wednesday October 4th when they host Post University at 1:00 PM. They look to break a seven game losing streak versus the Eagles, while being 4-10-1 against them overall.
