Jersey City, NJ -- The Alliance University women's cross country team finished 19th out of 26 competing teams at the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge. Freshman Kaylah Hill led AU with a time of 23:13 finishing 70th out of 186 runners. Senior Grace Wells came in second for the team with a time of 25:10 placing her 101st. Joanne Samuel-Olagunju, Marissa Morris, and Madeline Gonzalez completed the scoring runners for Alliance crossing the finish line together as 150, 151, and 152 with a time of 31:15.
Alliance will be back in action on Saturday when they compete at 22nd Annual St. Joseph's College Invitational.
