Jersey City, NJ -- The Nyack College women's soccer program hosted the Felician University Golden Falcons for their first conference match-up. 

The Warriors controlled most of the first half and create several promising opportunities that they left unused in the first 45 minutes which finished with a halftime score of 0-0. 

The Golden Falcons came out hot in the second half putting the Warriors on their back foot. Felician fired a series of shots towards the Nyack goal within the first 15 minutes of the second half, before the Warriors started to find their way back into the game. It took the Warriors until the 70th minute. Nyack was awarded a free kick 25 yards out. Shanice Rapp fired the set-piece onto the Golden Falcon goal but was denied by both the Felician goalkeeper and the crossbar before freshman Lara Noe headed the rebound into the back of the net for her first career goal and the 1-0 lead for Nyack. 

The Warriors held on to their small margin to finish the game with a final score of 1-0 to earn their fourth win of the season. With the win, the Warriors improved to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play. The Warriors will be back in action this Saturday when they host the Jefferson University Rams at 1 pm at West Hudson Park in Kearney, NJ.
