Box Score Waterbury, CT -- The Nyack College women's soccer team was back in action on Tuesday when they traveled to Connecticut to take on the Post University Eagles in another conference matchup.
The Warriors enjoyed the better first half outshooting the Eagles by 5-3 but were unable to find the back of the net.
In the second half, the Eagles broke the deadlock right off the bat in the 48th minute for the 1-0 lead. Post extended their advantage to 2-0 11 minutes later. The Warriors tried to find their way back into the game and finally scored their first of the game in the 84th minute. Mai Ruiz De Erenchun scored her first goal of the season off an assist by Shanice Rapp. However, the goal came a little too late for the Warriors who were unable to tie up the game in the remaining six minutes.
With the loss, the Warriors drop tp 5-6 overall and 2-4 in conference play. Nyack will be back on Saturday when they host the Chestnut Hill College Griffins at home.
