The Nyack College Warriors faced off in a home conference match against Goldey-Beacom College. 

In the first set the Warriors came out of the gate swinging hard and ready to compete. They took the lead early on in the set and Goldey-Beacom was unable to catch up from such a point deficit. The Warriors took the first set with a final score of 25-15. 

In the second set of the game the Warriors lost momentum losing the first four points of the game forcing them to catch up early on. At a score of 6-11, the Warriors began to come back with kills by Paige Easley and Shayna Timson, and some errors by the Lightning, tieing up the score at 11-11. Goldey-Beacom was able to find the lead again pushing forward by four points. At a score of 17-21 the Warriors again had to fix their sily mistakes and fight to win the set. They slowly began to bridge the gap and finished the last three points with kills by Kirby Cuellar, Kyra Zuhlke and Paige Easley, winning the set with a final score of 25-23. 

The third and final set of the game began with a trading of points until a score of 16-16 where Nyack began to pull forward with kills by Paige Easley, Cassady Hymes, and Shayna Timson. Goldey-Beacom began to bridge the point gap and started to make Nyack nervous, forcing them to fight for the last few points. The game ended with a service ace by Makayla Veracka, winning the set with a final score of 25-22 and the game 0-3.
