The Nyack Warriors volleyball team traveled to Holy Family University in the first round of CACC playoffs, starting off strong but eventually falling to the Tigers in a 1-3 loss to end the season.

In the first set, the Warriors blasted out to an early lead that was never challenged. Led by senior Abbey Lawson's solid blocking at the net, Nyack's defense held off the Tigers and produced opportunities for their hitters to score. The Warriors finished out the game with tough serves to claim a win in the first game, 25-14.

In the second set, the roles were reversed as Holy Family answered back with a surge of their own. Nyack's defense produced scrappy rallies, but could not keep the Tigers' offense from generating kills. The Warriors earned strategic points on their own offense end, but could not catch up to the Tigers' fast start, losing the second game 8-25. The third set followed the same storyline, as Nyack struggled to return Holy Family's serves and swings and lost the third game 4-25.

In the fourth set, the Warriors again started off at a deficit, but began to pull together their passing game to climb their way back. Nyack's blocking again set the Tigers back, but Holy Family's defense kept the balls alive. The Warriors' comeback started too late and they were not able to stop the Tigers, losing the fourth set 12-25.

Alexus Winters led the Warriors offense with 8 kills, and Abbey Lawson added 3
blocks at the net. Rachel Medin contributed 12 assists, and British Dawson led the defense with 11 digs.

The Warriors concluded their season with a CACC record of 12-8 and an overall record of 14-20. In conference play, Nyack as a team was 2nd place overall for service aces, tied for 2nd for kills, and 4th for digs
