Women's Soccer Drops Road Match to Felician Golden Falcons

Lyndhurst, NJ. – The Nyack College women's soccer team return to the field after Saturday's Central Atlantic Collegiate conference match against Goldey-Beacom to face Felcian University. The Lady Warriors were defeated by the Felician Golden Falcons 3-0 on the road in another CACC contest.

The Golden Falcons scored at the one minute mark when Danielle Stoll made a quick breakaway. Despite the early setback the Warriors stuck to their game plan and held off the Golden Falcons until the 60thminute when Danielle Stoll scored her second goal of the night. The Warriors were outshot 4-9 in the first half.

Despite valiant effort by the Warriors to keep the Golden Falcons at bay, Amanda Nowak would net the third goal of the game in the 62nd minute. Felician outshot the Warriors (0-2) 6-3 in the second half to finish the game with a 15-7 advantage.

Tested for much of her game between the posts, Nyack's Goalie Greta Enloe (Leavenworth, WA) finished the game with three saves out of the six shots faced.

Sophomore Midfield, Camila Parada (Sogamoso, Colombia) led the team with three shots, while Freshmen Defender Kaelan Kanai (British Colombia, Canada) and Senior Defender, Jessica Short (Tottenham, Canada) collectively added two more attempts for the Warriors.

Nyack returns to action this Saturday for their homecoming opener against Georgian Court. Kickoff is slated for 12:00pm.
