GAME 1

NYACK, NY - In a match this Friday, September 16th, the Warriors opened their conference play with a win over Felician University. The game would conclude in 5 sets with final scores of 25-15, 25-21, 18-25, 22-25, and 15-11 in favor of the Warriors.

Sophomore Megan Ma'afala-Maiava topped the Warriors offense with 10 kills against the Golden Falcons. Freshman Hadley Spresser finished the night with a match high 6 aces. The Warriors successfully dug 67 of the Falcons 137 attempts. Junior Kelsi Collins led the Warriors in digs with 20 and was closely followed by Alexus Winters with 15 digs.

GAME 2

The Warriors returned back to action today, when they traveled to Delaware to take on the Goldey-Beacom Lightning. The Lady Warriors finished the game in 3 sets with final scores of 25-20, 27-25, and 25-13. 

Junior Alexus Winters (10 kills) and sophomore Megan Ma'afala-Maiava (9 kills) led the Nyack offense with a combined 19 kills. Jillian Smith recorded two aces, while Spresser, Winters, and Collins added 1 ace each. Winters also led the Warriors in digs with 16. Kelsi Collins finished the match with 11 digs.

Up Next:
Nyack Volleyball will be back in action on Wednesday to face Caldwell University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competition at Bowman Gym. The game will start at 7pm.
