PHILADELPHIA - Freshman pitcher Brittany Blair helped the Warriors rebound from a tough game one loss with an outstanding pitching effort in game 2, defeating Chestnut Hill, 2-0, on the road.

The air seemed to be let out of the tires as a questionable bases loaded called third strike ended game one, in favor of Chestnut Hill.  Kylie Brase tossed a 5-hitter but suffered the loss, hampered by defensive miscues.

In game two, Blair, who has served in the role of reliever for most of the seasson, got the start and responded well.  Her 3-hitter and classmate Alissa Brugnoli's clutch2-run double were all the Warriors needed to spoil Chestnut hill's chances of slipping into he CACC playoffs.

The Warriors will wrap up their season with two make-up dates this weeK:

Monday, April 25 - Mercy at Nyack at 2/4 p.m.

Tuesday,April 26 - Bridgeport at Nyack at 2/4 p.m.
