ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY - The Nyack College women's volleyball team dropped a tough four-set match to non-conference opponent New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) for game one in the Dowling Tournament. In the late game, despite Nyack opening with a win in the first set and sophomore middle hitter, Abbey Lawson (Mililani, Hawai'i), posting a team-high13 kills, the Warriors would in the end get topped by Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) by a score of 3-1.
