WATERBURY, CT - The Nyack Warriors women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision at Post University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle as the Eagles would tally their 5th league win while Nyack falls 4-2.

Warrior Diana Hernandez's (Whittier, CA) penalty kick lone goal during the 79th minute of regulation would not be enough as Post's Renel Dennis would score a hat trick to keep Nyack at bay. 

Nyack would get out shot by a margin of 10-2 and Post took up two more corner kick opportunities than the Warriors (3-1). Nyack goalkepper Jordan Jansen (Lafayette, NJ) would tally 7 saves in the losing effort.

Nyack will next take the field on Saturday, Oct. 4th as Nyack serves as host to Philadelphia University in a CACC showdown. Game time is set for a 1PM start on Mosley Field.
