NYACK, NY - The Nyack women's volleyball team played in their first home match on Wednesday evening at Bowman Gymnasium against Bloomfield College. The Warriors were unable to come away with a victory as the Lady Bears swept Nyack 3-0.

Freshman Alli Beezer (San Diego. CA) led Nyack with thirteen kills while freshman Lindsay Miller (Chandler, AZ) added twelve kills and freshman  Alexus Winters (Yorba Linda, CA) chipped in with seven kills. Winters would also put up a great defensive effort to lead the night with 17 digs while teammates Paige Burrell (Ripon, CA) and Olivia Denny (Las Vegas, NV) both recorded eleven digs for the Warriors and Denny tallied a match high 39 assists.

Up Next
The Warriors return to action this weekend with a doubleheader on Saturday, September, 27th beginning with a morning match vs. Philadelphia University at 11am followed by a 3pm afternoon contest against Southern New Hampshire University. Both games will take place in Bowman Gymnasium.
