BRIDGEPORT, CT (April 15, 2013)

The Nyack Lacrosse team made their way to Connecticut for a non-CACC contest against the University of Bridgeport. 

More shots taken by the Warriors would allow for collective team scoring, however the Purple Knights would steal this one and walk away with the 20-6 victory.

Victoria Nash carried the 1st period with landing two goals. In the 2nd period, things began to pick up a bit more. Nyack won more draw controls and lead overall 16-12.

Although Lauren Lebo and Selena Vargas would score the next 4 goals during this time, being 50% for clears was a struggle and increased their turnovers. 

Nyack went 0-3 on free position shots while Bridgeport took advantage, shooting 6-9 in the eight. 

Lacrosse will have the day off today, and tomorrow look forward to another opportunity to workhard as they close the season series vs. Dominican College at home.

The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm eastern time on Mosley Field.
