ORANGEBURG, NY (October 8, 2013)

The Nyack women's soccer team took a break from conference play as they faced-off with the University of Bridgeport at the OMM Sports Complex.

Nyack would put up a good fight but struggled to tie the match after Julia Losert knocked in a penalty kick to bring the Warriors within one point from the Purple Knights.

Bridgeport (10-1) walks away with the 3-2 game win as Nyack's record reflects 5-5-1.

The next contest for the Warrior team is an away match scheduled to play East Coast Conference (ECC) opponents at Queens College.

The game will be Thursday October 10th in Flushing, NY
