NYACK, NY (October 5, 2013)

In a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up, the Nyack women's volleyball team conquered a close battle defeating Holy Family University (7-9, 4-3 CACC) in five matches.

The win tallies the fourth home court advantage victory as the Lady Warriors continue to stretch their winning streak to two games this past weekend after their win over Felician College this past Friday.

Warrior Samantha Garza lead the team with 24 kills and led with 3 blocks respectively while Michelle Makela led on the defensive end with 33 digs.

Up next this week for Warrior volleyball (8-11, 4-2 CACC) is an away contest on Wednesday October 9th to take on Concordia College followed by Nyack's homecoming weekend on October 12th, where Lady Warriors are set to play top seed opponents from Caldwell College at Bowman Gymnasium.
