NYACK, NY (October 12, 2013)

The Lady Warriors endured a long match on home territory against CACC opponent Holy Family University.

After two scoreless periods including double overtime, Nyack and the Lady Tigers would conclude the afternoon splitting a 0-0 draw.

Cyan Jean-Baptiste led the Warrior team with 6 shots taken while Madeline Barbarino contributed to 4 shots saved from the 4 HFU shots on goal.

Nyack outshot the Tigers by a margin of 15-12 where 7 shots were on goal. HFU goalkeeper defended well tallying 7 saves respectively.

While HFU had the advantage of more corner kick opportunities, the looks would not be enough for either team closing out the second overtime period.

The ladies currently sit  with a record of 5-6-2 on the year and 4-1-2 in conference play.

This week women's soccer will enjoy a week off from competition to prepare for an away contest on Saturday against CACC opponents at Chestnut Hill College.

Kick-off is slated for 1:00pm.
