"If you were to play against Brad McDuffie in any sport back in the day, you probably wouldn't have liked him very much in the moment of battle. But if you were blessed to be on his team, you loved him and always felt more confident about the outcome. Brad played to win and he took no prisoners, even if He liked you. He is arguably the fiercest competitor in Nyack sports history, a man no coach needed to motivate. But there's so much more to Brad. A legend for his magician like ball handling skills and innovative passing ability, Brad entertained and led Nyack to over 70 wins during his four years as a starter for Nyack College. Yet, superseding both his great competitive spirit and creative basketball genius, was a man who epitomized what being a Christian athlete is all about; someone who sacrifices personal gain for the sake of the team, someone who while losing never quits and in success never boasts; someone who always believes despite the odds  and always trusts his teammates no matter the magnitude of the moment, and therefore in the end never fails in the eyes of God and on the stage of what's really important. In this regard, Brad left us a legacy we all should try an live up to."
